Hi there! This is my low-key, brand new, fandom-related writing journal. If you're coming from LJ, please stick around as I'm no longer posting over there.

First things first
I've been writing fanfic since the 80's. As a consequence, I see myself along the lines of the 'old and wise' character in fairy tales. I believe in the right to freedom of expression, but above all I strongly believe in Primum Non Nocere, "Do No Harm". Which means that flaming, ship wars, character & actor bashing, and other fancy things along those lines are NOT welcome: I am in fandom just to have fun, not for boring drama. Like I said, I'm way too old for that frakking shit.

My fanfics are mainly in Italian, but I'm silly enough to write/publish in English as well. Also, I am in the process of translating my stuff. I see this journal as an opportunity to improve my skills, so any feedback is/will be much appreciated.

What you get
Drabbles, het and gen mainly. Lost mainly but many others as well, depending on what captures my (too vivid) imagination. I'm particularly interested in the close analysis of secondary/side/minor characters, with whom I tend to fall in love. From time to time, the odd fannish post will show up. Ideally, no private life posts. (It is called "private life" for a very specific reason.)

Circle policy
I've never been into the LJ "friending culture", therefore my policy is quite simple: non-existent, hassle-free. This is mainly a writing journal and it is 100% public, so if you like the place and want to subscribe... go ahead! I like meeting new people! As I myself read more than I write or comment, please do not feel obliged to comment on a regular basis. Want to unsubscribe? Be my guest, I totally understand. If I could, I'd do it too. :)
If I have subscribed you, it means that I really, really love your fanfics/ideas/meta/icons/whatever. Again, please don't feel obliged to grant me access back automatically.


Madrelingua?
Traviata in tenera età da subdoli "cartoni animati giapponesi" e pericolosi "fumetti americani", ho cominciato a scrivere fanfiction dapprima nella mia testa, quindi sulla carta. E una volta imboccata la strada della perdizione, esiste solo il punto di non ritorno.

Ho una certa età, credo nella libertà di espressione e seguo il mio stile, nel bene e nel male. Non ho pretese artistiche, scrivo fanfiction solo perché mi piace speculare sul non-detto. Avere una seconda visione, appunto.

Adoro le storie brevi, da cui la scelta di fare unicamente drabble.
Apprezzo lo slash solo quando è credibile (cioè non mero pretesto, cioè quasi mai). Non creo originali e il mio cuore batte per gli outsider, i personaggi secondari, le comparse.
Sappiatelo: qui nessuno muore, e nessuno viene torturato, stuprato, squartato, sbudellato. La vita è già abbastanza triste di suo. La mia, almeno. XD

Questo è un writing journal: non aspettatevi troppo e non rimarrete delusi! Leggo molto, scrivo poco, commento ancora meno. Liberi di aggiungermi alla vostra reading list quando e come volete, altrettanto liberi di togliermi quando e come volete. "Low-key, no pressure" è il mio motto.
